𝐁𝐄𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 In the hectic race of life, one has to keep pace with the slipping sands of Time. The young scholars of gunjanmamschoolcbsesobtis Public School were introduced to the concept of telling time on an analog watch through a series of enriching activities. The activities put their learning to test and helped them to be comfortable in reading an O'clock and writing the correct time. The inquisitive kids practiced the identification of the hour hand and used it to determine time with precision in the online sessions.

𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐒 The young learners of gunjanmamschoolcbsesobtis Public School enjoyed the spell of wintry chill with a mélange of fun-filled activities. Under the guidance of their mentor, the jubilant kids honed their artistic skills by drawing winter fruits and making winter vegetables with clay. Not only did they learn about various winter eatables but they also enjoyed an informative session on winter accessories. The little superstars cherished their learning sessions in the midst of laughter and cheer galore.

They showcased their talent by using the waste materials like newspapers, bangles, plastic bottles, empty cans, ice cream sticks, CD ROMS, etc, into beautiful pencil holders, photo frames, coasters etc. The activity was organized for students to learn and progressively understand that resources should be used carefully and they should always follow the motto of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

National Girl Child Day

"𝐆𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐈𝐑𝐋 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐃, 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 𝐓𝐎𝐅𝐋𝐘, 𝐋𝐄𝐓 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐒𝐎𝐌 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐂𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐊𝐘". Every year, on 24th of January, National Girl Child Day is celebrated all over the country to support girls and extend respect and love for them. In the year 2008, the celebration of this special day dedicated to girls, was started by Ministry of Women and Child Development , Government of India. Inspite of so much development even today ,lot of girls face inequality in the society with respect to their right to education, nutrition, legal rights etc. The main objective of celebrating this day is to spread awareness in the society about these prevailing inequalities. The day is observed for enhancing opportunities for the girls in the country and to ensure that the girl children get respect and equality in rights. On 23rd January, 2021, Students of gunjanmamschoolcbsesobtis PUBLIC SCHOOL celebrated the day with great fervour. Teachers told importance of National Girl Child Day to students and highlighted the need of giving equal status to the girls and encourage them to follow their dreams. Kindergarteners prepared craft of 'GIRL' .The young Sobtians enjoyed the plethora of activities that enhanced their artistic skills as well as sensetized them to stand against the gender bais in the society. It was indeed an exciting and adventurous experience for the students as it gave them ample opportunities to scratch their heads and undergo experiential learning, which would make them propel successfully in a future.

Winter Activity

𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐈𝐒 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄!! As the Wintry air turns chilly and cold, the city prepares to withstand the dipping temperature with warm clothes and limitless fun. The inquisitive learners of Grade NC learnt about weather and seasons in their online class. Dressing up their soft toys in cozy woollens, their joy was unparalleled. Out came with aplomb the sweaters, caps, gloves, socks and mufflers. The jubilant kids raced each other to keep their fluffy pals warm at the onset of winter.

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐈 𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐋 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐘! Kindergarteners of gunjanmamschoolcbsesobtis Public School were encouraged to inculcate healthy eating habits in their online class. Staple Indian ingredients like chapati, potato and paneer were used to add zing to delicious roll prepared with minimal efforts by our toddlers in this Chapati Roll Activity. Kids prepared some lipsmacking rolls with utmost glee.

आज कक्षा 8 के विद्यार्थीयों को हिंदी व्याकरण : विषय (उपसर्ग व् प्रत्यय) पर गतिविधि करवाई गई । जिसमे विद्यार्थीयों ने उपसर्ग व् प्रत्यय के माध्यम से शब्दों की रचना के बारे में जाना। इस गतिविधि का मुख्य उद्देश्य विद्यार्थीयों के मनोवैज्ञानिक विकास के साथ साथ, उनमे मौखिक अभिव्यक्ति , विश्लेषण करना, तुलना करना, अवलोकन करना, व सृजनात्मकता जाग्रत करना था। विद्यार्थीयों ने पूर्ण रूचि के साथ गतिविधि में भाग लिया व बहुत कुछ नवीन सीखा और समझा।

𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐃 𝐒𝐀𝐅𝐄𝐓𝐘 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊 is observed from January 11th to January 17th every year. It aims at making the roads and streets in India safer. During this week-long yearly campaign, the government spreads awareness about how to drive safely in order to avoid accidents and injuries. Keeping this campaign in mind students of Grade II took part in an activity where they made a craft of traffic light and also learned about various safety rules in their online class.

"𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭." A Workshop on " 𝐁𝐎𝐃𝐘 𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐔𝐀𝐆𝐄 & 𝐃𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐋 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐓𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐒" was organised for students of Grades 5 to 8. Our resource person 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐡𝐢𝐚 𝐑𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐨𝐥, a leading 𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐆𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓, enlightened students about how to work towards their self development, self esteem & personal growth. 𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄, 𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄, 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄, 𝐁𝐎𝐃𝐘 𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐊 & 𝐃𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐋 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐓𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐒 were the key areas around which the discussions revolved. This workshop gave students an opportunity to go BEYOND BOOKS & reinvent their approach in life. Madam Principal, Mrs Gunjan Sahni, also motivated students to exercise their discretion while using social media platforms. In this digital age ,where children are bombarded with information , it's extremely important to ensure that they are under guided supervision of Parents & Teachers to ensure their safety & sanctity on digital platforms . Workshop was well received by all students, leaving them craving for more.

Makar Sankranti Activity

🔥🔥𝐋𝐎𝐇𝐑𝐈 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐎𝐔𝐑 !!🔥🔥 𝐋𝐎𝐇𝐑𝐈 𝐅𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐀𝐋 was celebrated on the virtual platform in 𝐒𝐎𝐁𝐓𝐈𝐒 𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋 with gaiety and enthusiasm by our little kindergarteners. On this auspicious occasion, their mentors organized a 𝐋𝐎𝐇𝐑𝐈 𝐂𝐑𝐀𝐅𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐘 for the students of NC to UKG. The tiny tots were dressed in the Punjabi attire. The message of the festival was also told to the students by their mentor that are setting aside differences and rejoicing by celebrating the end of the harvest season and the chilly winter.

The online session of gunjanmamschoolcbsesobtis Public School resonated with mirthful cheer as the students of UKG delved into the world of animals with unparalleled excitement. Closely observing the unique body movement of the beasts of the jungle, the students participated in the Animal Exercise session with immense delight. The session commenced with the funny walk of a giraffe and concluded with the imitation of the gait of a penguin. All the kids enjoyed galloping like a horse, walking like an elephant, hopping like a kangaroo and jumping like a frog. Roaring like a tiger, screeching like a monkey and twittering like a little bird, the happy hearts learnt a lot about the animals in a fun-filled manner.

It's time to sense the air of Diwali as our young leaders celebrated Dhanteras by making Rangolis, worshipping Goddess Lakshmi and praying for their families. According to Hindu mythology, on this day, Goddess Lakshmi emerged from the ocean of milk along with a pot full of Gold and Lord Kuber. It is believed that Goddess Lakshmi brings Lord Kuber to fulfill the wishes of the devotees. So, people worship Goddess Laksmi and Lord Kuber (God of wealth). Dhanteras is also known as Yamadeepan. It is believed that people worship Lord Yamraj--God of death-- to please him and pray for the long life of the family. Happy Dhanteras to all! Virtual Children's Day Celebration

SPARKLING NAVRATRI & DUSSEHRA CELEBRATION! This is how our little munchkins of NC & LKG made Dandiya Sticks with Newspapers to celebrate the festival season. Little Sobtians learnt to make Dandiya Sticks with NEWSPAPERS and decorated it. The whole idea of making these paper dandiya sticks and using them was that they are kid-friendly, eco-friendly, reusable, recyclable, hand-made & made out waste material. This activity enabled in enhancing multiple intelligence of children . Children also enjoyed dancing with their hand made Dandiya Sticks and creating memories for a lifetime in their online session.

The joyous world of tools! The young learners of gunjanmamschoolcbsesobtis Public School explored the world of tools with abundant joy in the online sessions. After recapitulating the role of the various community helpers in the proper maintenance of our neighbourhood, the mirthful students learnt about the tools used by them to bring their job to fruition. The enthusiastic learners also indulged in an enriching session of Clay Modelling Activity where they made several tools like hammer, ladder, scissors to strengthen their concept. Finger Fitness! In a bid to strengthen the mobility of the finger and hand muscles, the young scholars of gunjanmamschoolcbsesobtis Public School participated in a wide array of enriching activities with immense enthusiasm. From using the clips used to tie up the wet clothes to stringing beads with dexterity for their dearest mothers, the children exhibited laudable focus and precision to complete the tasks under the guidance of their mentor. Their innocent eyes sparkled with joy as they crushed, rolled and pressed the crumpled newspapers on their palms to make balls, put them in a bowl and later scooped them out one by one without dropping. From singing the rhyme “Dady finger Dady finger...”& learning all different names of five fingers using plastic gloves, the ebullient students discovered the joys of learning in the online session.

It's raining bliss! The celebration of rainy season culminated on a joyful note. Maths Activity in Home Assignments

Let's Play & Revise GREATER THAN(>), SMALLER THAN(<) ,EQUAL TO(=) ...... Children of Upper Kindergarten were thrilled to revise Mathematics Concepts of >,<,= in their online class activity of comparing numbers, organized by their Teacher . Different numbers were placed on the table and children were asked to show the correct mathematical signs in between them. These cutouts of mathematical signs were in the shape of a crocodile's mouth, which made it much easy for kids to choose the correct answer , as the crocodile always opens it's mouth towards the larger number. Kids also arranged items super excitedly in white plates and compared the number of items.

Cute little children also got dressed up in the traditional festive attire & were completely engrossed in the true spirit of celebration. Eid is time to celebrate & share hapiness. It is also a time to forget & forgive & move on.All these values were seen in the students as they greeted their loved ones with love & affection on this beautiful occasion irrespective of their religion & caste.

A special Assembly was organised Online where all Sobtians gathered wholeheartedly to convey the significance of this pious festival. Informative Speech delivered by the student not only elucidated the celebrations of Eid but also highlighted the values of harmony, respect and friendship amongst all. Students were enlightened about the spirit behind the festival through a short story ‘EIDGAAH’ which gave them the message of Sacrifice and Service. Eid Mubarak!

"सोबतीस पब्लिक स्कूल के विद्यार्थियों ने डिजिटल प्लेटफार्म के माध्यम से 21 मई को "वर्ल्ड एन्टी टैरेरिज्म डे" मनाया l जिसमें कक्षा 11वीं के विदयार्थियों ने बताया की आतंकवाद आज के समय की सबसे बडी एवं अहम समस्या है।1989 में आज के दिन पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री राजीव गांधी जी की हत्या कर दी गई, उनकी हत्या के बाद ही 21 मई को आतंकवाद विरोधी दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाने लगा।छात्र रुद्र ने पोस्टर के माध्यम से बताया कि इस दिन को मनाने का मकसद लोगों को आतंकवाद के विरोधी कृत्य से अवगत कराना है,छात्र नईम ने बताया कि शन्ति और मानवता का संदेश फैलाना, एकता को बढावा देनाऔर युवाओं को शिक्षा और प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करना ताकि वे आतंकी गुटों में शामिल न हो इस दिन को मनाने का मुख्य उददेश्य है। छात्र महीन ने बताया की इस दिन प्रत्येक सरकारी संस्थानों में आतंकवाद विरोधी शपथ दिलाई जाती है l छात्र हर्षदीप ने डिजिटल प्लेटफार्म पर ही आगे समझाया कि हमें देश में बढते आतंकवाद,हिंसा के खतरे और पूरे देश पर इसके खतरनाक असर के बारे में जागरूक रहना चाहिए एवं देश के प्रति अपने कर्तव्यों का पालन करने का संदेश दिया।

सोबतीस पब्लिक स्कूल के विद्यार्थियों ने डिजिटल प्लेटफार्म के माध्यम से 18 मई को "वर्ल्ड एड्स वैक्सीन डे" मनाया l जिसमे उन्होंने बताया की कैसे एचआईवी फैलता है और इसकी रोकथाम के लिए कौन-कौन से आवश्यक कदम उठाए जाने चाहिए। कक्षा १२वीं की छात्रा अर्पणा ने बताया कि किस तरह एचआईवी एक संक्रमित व्यक्ति से दूसरे व्यक्ति तक फैलता है । इस बीमारी के लक्षण एवं उपायों के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी दी। छात्र अक्षत ने पोस्टर्स के माध्यम से बताया की कैसे हम एचआईवी का शिकार होने से बच सकते हैं l छात्र निखिल ने डिजिटल प्लेटफार्म पर ही आगे समझाया की एचआईवी हमारे समाज में एक सतत् स्वास्थ्य समस्या है इसके घातक संक्रमण के प्रवाह को रोकने के लिए सचेत रहना अत्यधिक आवश्यक है l अतः हमें वैक्सीनेशन के महत्व को समझने एवं इस बीमारी के प्रति जागरूक रहने का संदेश दिया।

सोबतीस पब्लिक स्कूल के विद्यार्थियों ने डिजिटल प्लेटफार्म के माध्यम से १७ मई को वर्ल्ड हाइपरटेंशन डे मनाया l जिसमे उन्होंने बताया की कैसे इंसानों की दौड़ती-भागती जिंदगी की वजह से पैदा हुए तनाव के कारण आज हम वर्ल्ड हाइपरटेंशन डे तक सेलिब्रेट करने लगे हैंl कक्षा १२वी की छात्रा चंचल ने हाइपरटेंशन जैसी बीमारी के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी देते हुए बताया की हाइपरटेंशन या हाई ब्लडप्रेशर एक बीमारी है जिसका कोई भी शिकार हो सकता है. लेकिन यह सिर्फ मानसिक अवसाद या तनाव की वजह से नहीं बल्कि गलत आदतों की वजह से भी हो सकता है और गलत खान-पान, मोटापा और अव्यवस्थित जीवनशैली की वजह से भी हाइपरटेंशन होता है। छात्रा सौम्या ने पोस्टर्स के माध्यम से इस बताया की कैसे हम हाइपरटेंशन का शिकार होने से बच सकते हैं l छात्रा सोनी ने डिजिटल प्लेटफार्म पर ही आगे समझाया की हाइपरटेंशन का खतरा बढ़ने से दिल का दौरा पड़ने की संभावना भी काफी बढ़ जाती हैl इस बीमारी को साइलेंट किलर भी कहा जाता है lहाई बीपी की शुरुआत का मतलब है, कई दूसरी बीमारियों को न्योता देनाl इसलिए हमे इससे बचे रहने के लिए नियमित व्यायाम व् मैडिटेशन करना चाहिए ,संतुलित आहार खाना चाहिए व् प्रसन्न रहना चाहिए तभी हम हाइपरटेंशन जैसी बीमारी से स्वयं को बचा सकते हैं l

GREEN COLOR DAY CELEBRATION FROM HOME

"Every problem has a solution. You just have to be creative enough to find it.” gunjanmamschoolcbsesobtis Public School started virtual classes during this lock down time and has completed more than 40 days of virtual classes . The teachers not only teach, but also boost up the moral of kids. They encourage kids to do different activities , help their parents , enjoy stories by the elder people at home , find new games ,engage in different activities etc . Every month we have different colour day Celebration at school as a part of curriculum . So today all kids enjoyed GREEN COLOUR DAY at their homes along with their parents. Kids brought several green coloured items and showed it to their friends and teachers. Teachers also managed to get different green coloured items from home and showed it to their friends and teacher. Kids were also introduced to different vegetable names and they learned the concept with fun.

SOBTIANS pepped up in the festivities of Baisakhi and showcased their scintillating talent by making beautiful collages ,posters, coloring Dhols, making kites & writing corona slogans at their homes. Online Baisakhi Quiz was conducted for Grade 6 while students of Grades 4 & 5 penned down their thoughts and emotions by writing stories. Kindergarten teachers narrated story of Baisakhi & told the toddlers about the importance of 5 K's of Sikhism.
